  1. What is Dental Tourism?

    Recently many factors lead to an increase of dental tourism, mainly caused by high costs of dental care in countries like the USA, Canada or across Western Europe, technology aspects, affordability of international travel, waiting lists and even health care standards. Roughly half a million Americans sought medical care abroad in 2006, of which 40 percent were dental tourists, according to the National Coalition on Health Care, an alliance of more than 70 organizations.

  2. How come dental care costs less abroad?

    Our clients can receive world class dental care for up to 70% less then in their home countries. Dental care fees in the U.S. and Canada are mostly driven by high labor overheads, insurance contracts and administrative costs. According to a recent WHO report more then 71% of the clinic operational costs are related to labor, which in effect explains the cost advantage in countries with low labor costs.   3. What services are included in your packages?

    Our tailored dental tour packages include accommodation (Hotel or Condo at your preference), airport transfers, the initial dentist introduction and consultation, a local cell phone during your stay with initial credit, an information pack about the area and a destination orientation tour so you understand the location.

  4. How can I be sure the dental care provided is excellent?

    We have been offering dental tour services since 2004 and our reputation is signed by our success in providing access to quality dental care; hence the service level of our partner clinics is our greatest concern besides your wellbeing. Therefore we only work with dental clinics that meet or exceed our service level requirements. By research, regular visits to the clinics and listening to our clients we perform a comprehensive and continuous screening of our dental partners in order to ensure an outstanding service.

  5. Are there any guarantees for the dental work?

    There certainly are! One advantage by booking a dental treatment through Dental-Offer is the extended guarantees our partner clinics give on the dental workmanship provided. Please see our separate guarantee information.

  6. Will I experience difficulties with language or translation?

    Our dentists, surgeons and their staff speak good English, so our clients yet have not had any difficulties with communication. However, as we are also locally on your site you may have us interacting on a personal advisory basis or in case of translation issues. This of course is not only for your time in the clinic, but also in any other situation.

  7. What are the payment modalities?

    Our payment modalities are outlined on our service terms and conditions. Basically we will ask you to book your dental tour package through our U.S. partner, where you can settle your tour by credit card, wire transfer, paypal, cheque or cash. Payments due to the treatment can be settled directly at the clinic. All our dental clinics accept the major credit cards (VISA, MasterCard) as well as cash (Euro). You may also take traveler cheques with you, which you can cash in when you have arrived.

  8. Where do you offer your dental care services?

    We offer our services in Bratislava (the capital of Slovakia), Mosonmagyaróvár (the dental care mecca) and Budapest (the capital of Hungary).

  9. Do your dental packages include the flight as well?

    No, as we offer our services on a very individual basis it is impossible for us to include flights in the packages due to airline ticket policies. However, at your convenience we will assist you in finding the best flight or even easier, have our U.S. partner booking the flight together with one of our dental packages for you. Depending on your destination your arrival airport will either be Vienna (airport code VIE) or Bratislava (airport code BTS) for destinations Bratislava and Mosonmagyaróvár. For Budapest it is the Budapest Airport (airport code BUD).

  10. Can I bring my partner or even travel with my family?

    Of course you can! All our dental tour services can be extended for your company at a small surcharge. We are also happy to work out special arrangements if you travel with more then two persons, for instance with your family. Kids and pets are also welcome. Please ask for details when you inquire.
