Terms & Conditions

This general terms & conditions outline our service contract with you when booking a dental appointment through us.

General

Except as otherwise expressly agreed, Scheuer és Társa BT. (with main office address Halász utca 10, H-9231 Máriakálnok, Hungary), or its subsidiaries or branch offices world-wide or authorized representatives or authorized sales agent (together “SeTBT”) and its client (or “Client”) agree that the terms and conditions for the services rendered by SeTBT to the Client, whether on an individual or a tour basis (together the “Services”) shall be governed by the booking conditions set out below and that the said booking conditions shall form an entire part of the service contract, whether verbal or written, entered into between SeTBT and the Client.

Validity

All prices quoted to the Client are on a net basis and in United States Dollars (USD) and valid according to the date specified on the SeTBT printed tariffs, quotation and/or invoice issued to the Client. SeTBT warrants that the prices or rates quoted to the Client are correct at the time of issuance of the Client’s quotation and/or invoice, but are subject to change in line with market, tax or currency fluctuation, with or without prior notice.

Reservation & Cancellation

Reservations are to be made to our office or to our appointed general sales agent. Upon confirmation of a reservation, a 30% (thirty percent) deposit is requested, and the total package tour price for the Services should be paid at least 30 days (thirty days) prior to client's arrival in the destination country or starting date of the tour, or otherwise SeTBT may at their sole discretion cancel the bookings without any refund of sums already paid to our company by the Client. SeTBT also reserves the right to change any arrangement (including tours, programmes, prices and services) in the best interest of its Client, with or without prior notice.

Payment

Except as otherwise agreed by SeTBT, Client’s payment shall be settled by cash or credit card. Except for cash payment, a service charge may apply. In cases where credit facilities have been agreed with the Client, payment shall be executed by swift or telegraphic transfer to the appropriate SeTBT bank account. Any bank charges levied by the sending bank relating to transfers to SeTBT must be paid by the client. On payment by bank transfer all details are provided upon request.

Cancellation

Save for the case where a Client loses its deposit as mentioned above, charges for cancellation of bookings are not levied by our company. If hotels, carriers and other contractors apply charges for cancellation, the Client shall be liable to pay those charges to SeTBT or to the concerned parties directly as the case may be.

If a Client cancels the contract at any time, but no more then 30 days prior to departure, 15% cancellation charge of the total package amount is applicable.

If a Client cancels the contract at any time, but within 30 days prior to departure, 30% cancellation charge of the total package amount is applicable. If a Client cancels the contract within 7 days prior to departure, 50% cancellation charge of the total package amount is applicable. Any payments made above the cancellation charge will be returned to the Client. SeTBT is not liable to bank and transfer charges that may apply and will be passed to the Client accordingly.

In the case the Client wishes to keep a booking and reschedule the itinerary, we are happy to keep any payment as a deposit on behalf of the Client. However, a new quotation will be reissued based upon your new travel schedule. The Client understands and accepts that the total costs for the new itinerary may differ from prior quotes.

Vouchers

Vouchers for booking arrangements and a copy of the Client’s itinerary will be issued to the Client prior to departure by a SeTBT representative.

Liability

SeTBT shall always do its utmost to provide the Services to the best of its capacity and upon the satisfaction of the Client. It is the understanding of the Parties that SeTBT acts as an intermediary between the Client and the dental clinic, airlines, hotels, transport operators, local tourist offices and other contractors providing the services to the Client. Our company shall in no event be liable to the Client, by reason of breach of Services or unsatisfactory services provided to the Client by third parties or by way of indemnity or in tort or otherwise, for any loss, injury, damage, delay, change in schedule or other adverse events, which are beyond the control of our company and/or sustained by an act or default of any person or company providing the Services to the Client. The Client warrants that SeTBT shall not be responsible and/or liable for additional expenses and/or damages incurred due to any delay, accidents, natural disaster, political action or unrest.

Documents

Clients must be in possession of a valid passport. If your passport is about to expire please check with us well before the tour regarding renewal requirements for the particular destination you will visit.

Claims

All disputes, claims and litigation regarding the services shall first be settled by way of negotiation and mutual understanding. In the event such negotiation and mutual understanding fails, the disputes, claim or litigation shall be finally settled by local arbitration in Hungary, Mosonmagyaróvár. All claims must be submitted in writing within 30 days after the end of the services.
